   Trusteeship Council

1) Concept;-
The Trusteeship Council is one of the main organs of the United Nations .  The Trusteeship Council was set up immediately after the Second World War .its task was to supervise the administer the Trust Territories placed under the Trusteeship System and help them to attain self govt.  The aims of the Trusteeship System have been fulfilled to the extent that all Trust Territories have attained self-government or independence.

2) composition ;-
The Trusteeship consist of
 those members who are administrating the trust territories
 the five permanent members of the Security Council -- China, France, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States.,
Any other member elected for three years by general Assembly


3) Power and function ;-
Power and functions of trusteeship
1) Periodical visit on the trust territory.
2)To make questionnaire for the trusted countries.
3)To publish the reports regarding the condition of trust territory and expected self independent.

4) Voting procedure;-
Each member of the Council has one vote. trusteeship Council are made by a majority of the members present and voting.

5) Present statues;-

The Trusteeship Council suspended its operations on 1 November 1994, after the independence of Palau, the last remaining United Nations trust territory.
