Services Providing by BISE Faisalabad
The main Services of the Boards are as under:-
To hold and conduct examinations pertaining to Intermediate Education, Secondary Education,
Pakistani and Classical Languages and such other examinations as determined by the government.
To accord, refuse or withdraw recognition to the Educational Institutions.
To lay down conditions for appointment to various examinations held by the Board.
To grant certificates and diplomas to the successful candidates.
To fix, demand and receive fee as may be prescribed by.
To award scholarships, medals and prizes to position holders.
To organize and promote extra mural activities.
To create posts and appoint such staff as may be considered necessary for the purpose of its
functions; provided that a post in Bs-17 or above, shall be created with a prior approval of the
Controlling Authority.
To make provision for building's premises, furniture, apparatus, books and other means required for
carrying out the purposes of the Act.
APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES OF RESIDENT INSPECTOR:
. Resident Inspector shall keep a watch over Examination centre being conducted in his institution.

. Resident Inspector will extend every possible assistance to Centre Superintendent for the smooth
and fair conduct of Examination, including elimination of disturbance/interference by out-seders.
3. The Resident Inspector shall be required to stay in his office during the conduct of the
examination. However, he may visit the centre under the direction of the Board or on the request of
the centre superintendent. Persons falling in categories mentioned below are not eligible for
appointment as Resident Inspector.
1. If he is appointed as Superintendent/Inspector or Member of Mobile Squad etc.
2. If his close relative is appearing in the centre.
3. If the Board disqualifies him. In such cases the Head of the Institutions shall inform the Controller
of Examinations immediately, who will make alternate arrangements for appointment of the Resident
Inspector.
APPOINTMENT OF RESIDENT INSPECTOR:
1. All heads of institutions will be appointed as Resident Inspectors where Examination centre is constituted.
